European style workbench.
When I began my woodworking odyssey, my first workbench was a old door on top of two sawhorses. It didn't take long for me to realize my limitations. I personally found the European style workbench to posses a classical charm and it's rugged as heck. Made entirely of hard eastern maple it was a lot of fun to make although I wouldn't recommend drilling the large holes in the front vise block without a drill press as I almost broke my wrist using my only hand held drill. This workbench is very easily disassembled but I would not attempt to carry the top alone. Plans are available online for approximately ten dollars. The best feature of this workbench other then the dogs and very strong front vice grip is the expandable top to accommodate changes in temperature and humidity.

Galley cabinets
This beautiful teak cabinet was completed for a 30 foot yacht galley. Teak is the wood of choice of course. The boat owner specified their wishes in the design with a couple suggestions from me, such as having miter joints for added beauty. The hidden hinges are a 1950's design and can be found in stainless steel. The push button door knobs can be found from Sugatsune. The entire cabinet can be disassembled for easy refurbishing and maintenance. The most difficult aspect other than creating the perfect miter joints is establishing the appropriate stain to exactly match the preexisting wood. A fun project especially while trying to work during a storm!

Canoe
This canoe plan can be found from Bear Mountain boats near Ontario Canada. This Redbird design is for choppy rivers and small bays and it's long length makes this a fast canoe. If you want a canoe for lake use this one would be an overkill. I found this to be very useful for the area that I lived in which mostly consists of rivers. Because of its round hull, it is more stable in choppy waters but it has less stable for fishing for example. If we commuted by canoe this canoe would be ideal. It took me ten months to build, two of those being full time. It has six different species of wood. The hull and matching paddle blades are made of Western Red Cedar with Alaskan Yellow as the accent. The seats and thwart are of hard maple including the paddle shafts. The breast hooks are made of beautiful combination of figured and birds eye maple. The coaming and inner gunwales are of Mahogany and the outer gunwales and stems of Cherry.
